Swine, Wine and Dine
For most of our students, financial assistance is needed to attend college. Your support enables our students to achieve their college education. Our newest fundraising event raises critical dollars to support students via scholarships, grants and assists with unmet needs. The inaugural event was held on August 25, 2018 and was a success! The event featured Creme of the Crop catering and the Nick Lynch Band. Nucor Steel of Kankakee was our lead sponsor. The event raised over $70,000! Thank you to all of our generous sponsors.
Scholarship Breakfast
At the annual Scholarship Event, scholarship recipients and those who donated to their scholarship have the opportunity to meet. Recipients share their appreciation with donors and talk more about their plans for the future. Donors are able to see firsthand the impact their donations made and how their contributions transformed students’ lives.
The event is held each October. This year, a breakfast will be held on the Riverfront Campus on October 31. Invitations will be sent.

Century Scholars
Since 1984, the Century Scholars Recognition Society has presented its scholarship award at the annual scholarship event. KCC's 2018 Century Scholars are Erron Smith, Damon Myers, Karla Ramirez. Shown above are the 2017 recipients with KCC President Dr. John Avendano.

Distinguished Alumni
Each year, the KCC Foundation selects a KCC graduate to receive the John M. Fulton Distinguished Alumni Award. Congratulations to the 2018 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, Maureen Powell ‘85.
